Although CyberKnife is capable of treating prostate cancer, our center does not treat prostate cancer patients on Medicare due to coverage issues in Colorado.
TrailBlazer, the contracted administrator of the Medicare program in Colorado, does not cover CyberKnife treatment of prostate cancer. Therefore, if you are a prostate cancer patient on Medicare, we invite you to contact our partner facility, Reno CyberKnife, to learn more about this treatment option and whether you may be a candidate for CyberKnife.
To contact Reno CyberKnife, call 775-348-9900.
Located in Northern Nevada’s largest city, Reno CyberKnife is a service of Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center and provides the same exceptional care patients experience at our facility.
Since CyberKnife treatment can be completed in a few days rather than several weeks or months, patients traveling from Colorado do not have to worry about being away from family, friends or work for long periods of time.

To clarify, our center does treat prostate cancer patients with most forms of commercial insurance. Please contact us to discuss the specifics of your carrier and benefits.
